The internal structure and external texture are made entirely from paper and card. With over a thousand hand cut iridescent paper pieces. The inspiration is drawn from tragic global events in 2019 and 2020 and is an image Lisa held in her mind for over 2 years before she felt ready to create it. The gold human ribcage surrounds a delicate flower, representing the life and spirit of a child in a parents chest.
