FLUX
Flux is an exploration of love: light and darkness, hopes and fears. The movement illustrates a constant flux between emotional states: vulnerability and strength, calm and frustration. One fish has vulnerable fleshy skin tones and the other strong 'oil slick' blues, blacks and grey.
The constant flow of emotions in the body is like a dance or music, the fish dance together, flowing under the water. The paper elements are foil block printed with gold and silver patterns, enhancing the complexity of the emotions and the depth of the feeling.
Flux is a creative collaboration with Barnard & Westwood.
