Emerge
During the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 Lisa was commissioned to produce window displays across Europe for major fashion brand 7 For All Mankind. While the world’s communities struggled with the effects of the pandemic, the project’s aim was to help people to feel connected and create an opportunity to see art in their local city. Lisa’s task was to create a positive visual expression of hope and rebirth.
Lisa took inspiration from flowers, in particular the White Egret Orchid; an incredible flower that looks like a bird with wings outstretched. She then combined the floral details with a bird like form to create a hybrid of colour and texture.
These two originals featured in the store window of the flagship store in London’s Regent street when the high streets finally reopened. Replicas were also created for flagship stores in Paris, Knokke, Geneva, Milan, Frankfurt and Amsterdam.
Lisa is wearing 7 For all mankind knitwear. The video was filmed during the end of lockdown and all production happened while all stores were still closed.
